The festive period is definitely messing with my schedule, and with the Omicron variant sending cases rising everywhere it’s all feeling a bit eerily familiar. There were meant to be two games this Saturday but now we are left with a single high quality matchup.

Patriots @ Colts (-2.5)

This should be a great game, but it feels like the Colts will have problems because they have a very effective formula, but it’s hard to trust Carson Wentz in the passing game, and with that kind of weakness to scheme around you would expect Belichick to have a defence ready to make the Colts rely on Wentz throwing the ball. I could be wrong, as Frank Reich is a coach I really admire, but I whilst I think it will be competitive, I like the Patriots in this one.
